Olaide Akinremi, the House of Representatives member for Ibadan North Federal Constituency, has passed away.

The news was shared by Akin Akinwale, a prominent figure in the All Progressives Congress, on social media this morning.

Before his passing, Akinremi held the position of chairman of the House Committee on Science Research Institutes.
