Adeboye Urges Men Of God To Vigilantly Avoid Sexual Temptation Despite Anointing

The General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God, Pastor Enoch Adeboye, has stated the importance of avoiding sexual immorality, regardless of one’s anointing or years in ministry.

Speaking at the recent Ministers & Workers Conference of RCCG America 1, Adeboye shared that he remains vigilant against sexual temptation, even at his age, stressing that no amount of anointing can protect against such dangers.

During his sermon, which was shared on his YouTube page, Adeboye referenced the biblical figure Samson, who despite his anointing, fell into sexual immorality.

He urged ministers to be cautious and not rely on their anointing to resist temptation.

Adeboye also warned youths to be wary of lust and to flee from anything resembling sin.

Addressing his audience, he said, “I run faster than before because the closer you get to the finishing point, the more careful you must be. Anointing does not turn your body to stone. When you see a woman smiling at you and she is not your wife, run.”

He further advised young people to be cautious of flattery and deceptive intentions, emphasizing the importance of fleeing from youthful lust.

Adeboye concluded by reminding that there is no grace for what God commands to be avoided, only the grace to flee from it.
