Former Kogi State Governor Yahaya Bello has turned himself in at the headquarters of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) in Abuja today, September 18.
His arrival, accompanied by his successor, Governor Usman Ododo, has stirred reactions online.
Bello faces charges of money laundering, breach of trust, and the misappropriation of N80.2 billion.
The EFCC had previously declared the former governor wanted after multiple failed attempts to secure his arrest.
Following these developments, Bello voluntarily submitted himself to EFCC officials for questioning regarding the accusations.
