The South-West Guild of Online Publishers (SWEGOP) has congratulated its Chairman, Mr Bisi Oladele, and Vice Chairman, Mr Dapo Falade, on their new appointments in Oyo State’s political and public communication space.
Oladele was appointed Director of Media and Publicity for the 2027 governorship campaign of the All Progressives Congress (APC) candidate in Oyo State, Senator Sharafadeen Alli, while Falade was appointed Senior Special Assistant to Governor Seyi Makinde on Information and Orientation.
In a statement issued by its Publicity Secretary, Remi Oladoye, the Guild described the appointments as recognition of the professional experience, dedication and contributions of the two journalists to media practice and public communication.
SWEGOP noted that the appointments reflect the growing relevance of experienced media professionals in political communication, public administration and governance.
The Guild congratulated Oladele and Falade, expressing confidence that they would bring their wealth of experience, professionalism and commitment to bear on their respective assignments.
It also wished them success in their new responsibilities, urging them to continue upholding the values of responsible journalism, credible information dissemination and public service.
