ROAD TRANSPORT EMPLOYERS ASSOCIATION OF NIGERIA (RTEAN) OYO STATE CHAPTER
PUBLIC DISCLAIMER, NOTICE OF INDEFINITE SUSPENSION AND RELIEVE FROM DUTIES
The attention of the Chairman and Deputy Chairman of Road Transport Employers Association of Nigeria (RTEAN) Oyo State Chapter, has been drawn to the allegations of fraudulent activities and unauthorized representations being carried out by the following persons:
Mr. Adegoke Babatunde Oloyede. (Financial secretary)
Adeyemi Idowu Olusola (Secretary)
In the wake of thorough investigation by the executives of the association, In accordance with Article 12(d) of the Constitution of Road Transport Employers Association of Nigerian (RTEAN), the 5-man Disciplinary Committee Reports has been ratified by the State Executive Council (SEC) at its meeting held on 12th March, 2026 at the State Secretariat, Adeduntan House, Yemetu Ibadan and resolved to suspend the above-named persons from the membership of the association with immediate effect and also Relieved them of their positions and all duties, right and privileges attached to their offices with immediate effect, on the allegation of:
1. Receiving the sum of #105,000,000(One Hundred and Five Million Naira Only) from a well-meaning individual on behalf of the association and fraudulently failed to remit same.
2. Fraudulently collected a huge sum of money from the members of the association for the purchase of motorcycles and failed to effect the same.
In view of the foregoing, we hereby suspend them, and they are not authorized to sign, collect, disburse, or transact any business on behalf of theassociationn.
By this notice, the general public, Government Agencies, Financial Institutions, Business Partners, and all stakeholders are hereby informed that the aforementioned persons Cease to be members of Road Transports Employers Association (RTEAN) Oyo State Chapter until further consideration of the managements after a considerable meeting of the association and are No Longer Authorized to represent, or transact any business on behalf of the Association in any capacity whatsoever.
The association hereby disassociate itself from any act, transaction, debt, liability, or obligation incurred by the above-named persons and will not be held responsible for any consequences arising therefrom.
Members of the public are strongly advised to desist from having any dealing with them in the name of Road Transport Employers Association of Nigeria (RTEAN) Oyo State chapter as any person who does so does so at his\her own risk.
