The Oyabisehin Dynasty has commended the Olubadan of Ibadanland, His Imperial Majesty Oba (Sen.) Rashidi Adewolu Ladoja, Arusa I, and the Olubadan-in-Council for the installation of Chief Rasheed Diekola Aare as the new Baale of Iwokoto.

In a congratulatory message, the Arole Oyabisehin Ibadan and Pioneer President of Global Barbers Academy Worldwide, Chief Ajibola Babatunde Suraj, described the installation as a significant development for the people of Iwokoto, Akinyele and the Ibadan sub-rural communities.

Chief Suraj particularly praised Oba Ladoja for what he described as his “Solomonic wisdom” in approving the candidature of Chief Diekola, whom he said enjoys the support of the people.

According to him, the installation has brought an end to a long period of vacancy on the Baale stool following the tenure of the late Baale Tijani Aminu, who succeeded Baale Abdulquadri Aare and Baale Amodu Sanni.

Expressing his appreciation on behalf of the sons and daughters of the Oyabisehin Aare Dynasty at home and abroad, Chief Suraj congratulated Chief Diekola on his emergence as the new custodian of the revered traditional institution.

He said the new Baale assumed the throne at a significant period in the history of Ibadanland, particularly under the leadership of Oba Ladoja, whose reign, he noted, had continued to attract attention to the preservation and development of Ibadan traditional institutions.

Chief Suraj expressed confidence that the reign of Baale Diekola Aare would usher in positive changes, unity and development across Iwokoto, Akinyele and other Ibadan sub-rural communities.

He further prayed for wisdom, good health and divine guidance for the new traditional ruler, urging him to use his position to promote peace, progress and the welfare of his people.

“Your installation comes at a dynamic and remarkable time in the history of Ibadanland. I have no doubt that your reign will bring positive change and development to our constituency, Iwokoto, Akinyele and Ibadan sub-rurals at large,” Chief Suraj said.

He assured the new Baale of the continued support and goodwill of the Oyabisehin Aare Dynasty, while praying that God would guide his footsteps and enable him to elevate the traditional institution.

Chief Suraj, who is also identified as Pioneer (Associate, CIPFC), Zurrymania of France and Arole Oyabisehin Ibadan, concluded by extending his warm felicitations to Baale Rasheed Diekola Aare and wishing him a successful and impactful reign.
