The President of the Association of Mogajis of Ibadanland, Chief Asimiyu Adesola Adepoju Ariori, has commended renowned philanthropist Chief Dotun Sanusi for his sustained contributions to strengthening security across Ibadan and Oyo State.
Chief Ariori gave the commendation on Wednesday while speaking with journalists on the sidelines of the Oyo State stakeholders’ meeting on security maintenance, held at Ibadan House, Oke-Aremo.
He noted that effective security requires substantial and continuous funding, an area in which he said Chief Sanusi has consistently taken responsibility by supporting various initiatives without hesitation.
According to the Mogaji, while traditional methods of crime prevention still exist, their effectiveness depends largely on proper application, community cooperation, and modern reinforcement.
Chief Ariori urged residents to remain vigilant and proactive in safeguarding their communities. He called on the public to promptly alert security agencies whenever they observe suspicious movements or activities by individuals he described as “incongruous elements” within society.
