The British Council in Nigeria has announced the increment of fees in taking the English Language Testing System, IELTS examination.
The council revealed in a recent statement via its official website that the newly increased fees of N139,000 for both computer academic and general training modules will take effect from February 1, 2024.
WesternLifeNewsNG understands this development came in less than six months after the last increase, which to N90,000 from N80,000.
The council attributed this adjustment to the rising examination costs.
“We would like to inform you that our IELTS fees have been reviewed. The new price list of the IELTS range of tests offered by the British Council will be effective for registrations on or after February 1 2024,” it stated.
