Senator Ned Nwoko, a Nigerian lawmaker and husband to Nollywood actress Regina Daniels, has publicly accused his wife of engaging in violent behaviour and substance abuse, alleging that her actions have disrupted peace in his household.
In a Facebook post titled “Regina’s Unprovoked Carnage and Rampage in My House and in My Absence,” the Delta North senator said the actress’s recent conduct was influenced by her alleged addiction to drugs and alcohol.
“Regina was not always like this. Her current battle with drugs and alcohol abuse is the root of our problem,” Nwoko wrote.
“She must continue her rehabilitation program, or I fear for her life and safety. Now she has moved to a place where she will have unrestricted access to drugs.”
The senator dismissed insinuations that he had been violent toward his wife, stressing that none of his other wives had ever accused him of such behaviour. Instead, he accused Regina of being the aggressor, claiming she attacked three domestic staff within 48 hours and destroyed property, including cars and windows.
“Regina is the violent one here, slapping and hitting three staff in the past 48 hours and destroying property, including cars and windows, for no just cause,” Nwoko alleged.
He said he had given the actress a clear condition to undergo rehabilitation either in Asokoro, Abuja, or abroad, preferably in Jordan, “where she will not have access to drugs.”
According to him, the situation escalated when he took their son, Moon, to the hospital while Regina allegedly caused chaos at home, aided by individuals he described as her “drug suppliers.”
“While I took Moon to the hospital, a scene of chaos unfolded at home, orchestrated by Sammy, Regina’s main drug supplier. Another known supplier of drugs to Regina is the tiny evil devil called Ann,” he alleged.
As of press time, Regina Daniels had not publicly responded to the allegations.
The couple, who got married in 2019, have two children together. Their marriage has often been the subject of public attention due to their age difference and celebrity status.
