‎”The late Olubadan of Ibadanland, Oba Owolabi Olakulehin was a great man, a selfless leader and devoted Ibadan man.

‎”It is not how far, but how well! Oba Olakulehin has paid his due, he has come, saw and conquered. The commitment was right from his days as a civil servant to serve his state to the period he joined the Nigerian Army to protect his country. His exemplary leadership style adhered him to the people to elect him as their representative at the House of Representatives before he settled down as an entrepreneur.

‎’I sympathize with the family of Ige Olakulehin Royal House, the Olubandan-in-Council, the Central Council of Ibadan Indigenes (CCII), all Ibadan sons and daughters, the government of Oyo State and Nigeria at large, on the demise of our father, His Imperial Majesty, Oba Owolabi Olakulehin.

‎”My prayer is that Almighty Allah grant him eternal rest and fortify the family he left behind, and Ibadan continues to experience peace, progress and development after his death,” Mr Giwa said.
