Members of defunct Oyo state chapter of Zenith Labour Party, has felicitated with Governor Seyi Makinde as he marks his 56th birthday on December 25, 2023.
The group, which has become a critical stakeholders in Oyo state’s Peoples Democratic Party, in a statement jointly signed by its Chairman and Secretary, Comrade Wole Abisoye and Sulaiman Adedokun, respectively, “joined the good people of Oyo state, Governor Makinde’s family, friends and admirers in celebrating another year of Governor’s good health and strength.”
The statement noted Makinde’s vibrancy, uncommon dedication, to the peace, progress, stability and development of Oyo state, since his assumption of office.
“We congratulate your excellency, on this special occasion and wish you many happy returns. We also cherish your zeal, patriotism, hardwork and leadership in driving the affairs of Oyo state since May 29, 2019. Your dedication to the peace, progress and development of Peace setter state is unparallel.”
It also affirmed that Governor Makinde’s pursuit of noble causes and democratic ideals has indeed endeared him to the people of Oyo state and Nigeria in general.
“We wish you continuous God’s blessings and long live as you celebrate your 56th Birthday and equally thank you for all the good things you have done to the people of Oyo state,” the statement concluded.
