Renowned Tungba gospel maestro, Dr. Yinka Ayefele, has once again enriched the music landscape with the release of a new soul-lifting album titled Reflections.
According to a statement signed by Samson Akindele, the Group Head, Corporate Affairs Fresh Nigeria & Yinka Ayefele, the 2025 album was officially released on Monday, December 22, and presents a deeply philosophical and introspective body of work that mirrors Ayefele’s life journey, experiences, and unwavering faith.

“Reflections captures the veteran broadcaster and musician’s moments of reflection, nostalgia, and gratitude as he looks back on years marked by trials, near tragedies, and triumphs. Through the album, Ayefele thoughtfully weaves personal experiences into heartfelt praise to God, the Giver of life. Musically rich and creatively layered, the album blends rhythmic drum percussions, melodious string arrangements, and Ayefele’s signature call-and-response style.
“These elements are further enhanced by the harmonious backing vocals of the internationally acclaimed Merry Makers Band. The project features a variety of sounds, including Tungba hymnals and Arabic praise chants delivered by rising female talent Harike Jesu, who also adds a vibrant and danceable Fuji track to the album. Track One reflects on Ayefele’s life journey and the lessons drawn from past experiences, culminating in profound thanksgiving to Jehovah. Track Two offers a heartfelt appreciation to fans while setting the tone for a continuous flow of upbeat, dance-ready rhythms.
“Reflections is positioned as a timely and inspiring album for the Christmas and New Year season, inviting listeners to reflect, praise, and celebrate through music,” the statement added.
The album is currently available on major digital and streaming platforms, including Audiomack, Spotify, Boomplay, Apple Music, Amazon Music, YouTube Music, TIDAL, Deezer, TikTok, VEVO, Shazam, Mixcloud, and 7digital. The Compact Disc (CD) version will be released in the coming days under the Yinka Ayefele Music label.
