Minister of Federal Capital Territory, Nyesom Wike on Saturday remarked that attempt by Governor Siminilaye Fubara to obtain court orders late at night won’t kick out Rivers lawmakers.
The former governor said this during an event honoring Chief George Thompson Sekibo, assuring the suspended lawmakers not to worry about losing their positions, saying they should understand their roles in making others afraid.
He admitted to making mistakes, including supporting Governor Siminalayi Fubara, which he promised to correct later.
Wike emphasized the importance of staying alive to face criticism and assured that those causing trouble would calm down eventually.
He urged people to focus on their loyalty and not be bothered by criticism.
