The chieftain of the All Progressive Congress (APC) in Oyo State, Arc (Dr.) Hassan Giwa, has congratulated President Bola Ahmed Tinubu on the second year anniversary of his government.
Mr Giwa, in a statement signed and made available to journalists through his media assistant, said the President deserved to be commended for his various approaches and policies to address challenges facing the country in just two years.
He said that the potentials in the administration of President Bola Tinubu are very huge, calling on Nigerians to rally round him to deliver on his campaign promises.
The Asiwaju Musulumi of Ibadanland disclosed that the President’s efforts in making education accessible, improved economy, provide infrastructure and improved power sector are well acknowledged and appreciated.
The founder of Hassan Olawale Giwa (HOG) Foundation said that rate of school dropout has dropped as a result of NELFUNDS intervention, inflation is reducing and thereby forcing the price of rice and other staples to fall in the markets, many ongoing infrastructural development across the country, as well as the initiative to decentralize the power sector to address challenges of power. There is also ongoing effort to reposition the oil and gas sector to stabilize the economy.
Mr Giwa emphasized that the establishment of South West Development Commission, North West Development Commission and South East Development Commission by President Bola Tinubu is a laudable initiative to bring even and rapid development to all regions across the country.
While calling on Nigerians to rally round support to President Bola Tinubu to deliver on his campaign promises, urged them to respect the democratic institutions by ensuring that their criticisms are constructive to bring positive changes.
He maintained that with steps taken by the President in the last two year, indicating that there are still many development strides to be delivered by the Tinubu led administration to build stronger Nigeria.
