The list of ministerial nominees submitted by President Bola Tinubu would be read out at senate plenary today (Wednesday) by the Senate president, Godswill Akpabio.
This is coming 50 days after the president was sworn in.
As mandated by law, the President is obligated to submit the list of ministerial nominees within 60 days of assuming office. After Tinubu’s inauguration on May 29, he has until July 26 to fulfill this requirement.
Before this moment, Nigerians have been eager to know those who will be working with the president to drive the economy which current nosedive.
A lot of speculative names have surfaced on social in recent times, which had turned out to be false.
Now that the names have been sent and would be read out today, this will put paid to further speculation.
