President Bola Tinubu has unveiled new appointments for the Governing Councils and Boards of Federal Universities, Polytechnics, and Colleges of Education across Nigeria.
According to a statement by the Permanent Secretary for General Services, Nnamdi Maurice, on behalf of the Secretary to the Government of the Federation (SGF), notable appointees include former minister of communications, Barrister Bayo Shittu (Board Chairman, King David Umahi University of Medical Sciences, Uburu, Ebonyi State) and former Oyo State Deputy Governor, Rauf Olaniyan (Board Chairman, Federal College of Education (Special, Oyo).
Others appointees from Oyo State are Hon. Dapo Lam Adesina as member, Adeyemi Federal University of Education, Ondo State; Rt. Hon. Asimiyu Alarape as member, Federal College of Education, Ondo; Hon. Abass Aleshinloye as member, Akaanu Ibiam Federal Polytechnic, Ebonyi and Wasiu Ajimobi as member, Federal Polytechnic, Kabo, Kano State.
