Few days after their voluntary resignations as national chairman and Secretary respectively, Abdullahi Adamu, and Iyiola Omisore were in Aso Villa on Tuesday, to hold meetings with President Bola Tinubu.
Thecable reports that both men arrived together for the meeting.
Meanwhile details of the meeting is yet to be revealed.
The resignation of both men fuelled reports of upheaval within the party. However, the APC dismissed the insinuations as speculative.
Abubakar Kyari has since assumed office as acting chairman and Festus Fuanter as the acting national secretary.
Meanwhile, Umar Ganduje, former governor of Kano, has been reportedly preferred by President Tinubu as the successor of Adamu while Ajibola Basiru, former spokesperson of the senate, may replaced Omisore.
