The Supreme Court of Nigeria has introduced an online enrollment system for Nigerian law school graduates who are successful after the bar examinations.
The Supreme court simplified the enrollment process for legal practitioners through this application.
Through this, a law graduate will be able to search his or her name for eligibility, make payment, enter enrollment details and wait for verification.
Successful Bar Aspirants will henceforth before their official Call to Bar ceremony, proceed to register on the portal, https://lawyerenrollment.com.ng/home/
The process of enrollment is simple, easy to use and the process is streamlined. Online enrollment also saves time and reduce cost for the individual.
Below are the Enrollment Processes:
1. Click or Proceed to Enroll button on the Landing Page
2. Search for your details using your Examination Number and Date of Birth.
3. If your Name is found, a pop-up modal containing your Details will display, including the Payment Amount. Click on PAY to make payment.
4. After a successful Payment, a link will be sent to your Email. Check your Mail Inbox or Spam folder and click on the link to continue your Enrollment.
5. On Enrollment Form, Upload your Passport and signature, it is adviced to crop uploaded signature for easy verification. Note: Accepted file formats are .jpg, .png, .jpeg
and the file size should not exceed 200KB
6. Fill in the necessary details and click on the Save & Continue button.
7. After clicking on Save & Continue button, Upload Law School Testimonial.
Note: Accepted file formats are .jpg, .png, .bmp, .jpeg, .pdf
and file size should not exceed 500KB
8. After Uploading Law School Testimonial, click on Submit button to Submit Enrollment Form.
9. Upon submission of the Enrollment form, wait for the verification of your application. An email will be sent to you upon verification of your application.
Note: Verification may not occur on the same day, so please check your email frequently to know when your application is verified.
10. Upon receiving the Verification email, click on the link provided to Upload your Call to Bar Certificate and Qualification Certificate, and proceed with Enrollment.
Note: Accepted file formats are .jpg, .png, .bmp, .jpeg, .pdf,
and the file size should not exceed 500KB.
11. Note: When coming for physical verification, please bring a government-issued photo ID Card.
