Four governors of South-West states on Tuesday visited their Ondo State counterpart, Rotimi Akeredolu, who’s currently recuperating in Ibadan.
Akeredolu, since his return from medical vacation in Germany has been performing his official duties outside the state.
The governors who paid him visit were Babajide Sanwo-Olu (Lagos), Dapo Abiodun (Ogun), Seyi Makinde (Oyo) and Biodun Oyebanji (Ekiti).
Conspicuously absent was the Osun State Governor, Senator Ademola Adeleke.
In a statement by Akeredolu’s Chief Press Secretary, Richard Olatunde, the governors discussed national and other issues affecting the region and the people.
At the meeting, Akeredolu who is also the Chairman of the South-West governors, thanked his colleagues “for their solidarity,” and “harped on continuous collaboration among the South-West States.”
