WesternLifeNewsNG recalls that since tenure of 10th assembly began, two top ranking northern senators have sanctioned by the senate over their outbursts on the current state of governance in the country.

Senator Abdul Ningi of the People Democratic Party (Bauchi) was suspended for three months after he claimed that 2023 budget was padded to the tune of about N3.7 trillion, representing more than 10% of the N28.78 trillion budget.
