Score Express Magazine has officially announced the distinguished honorees for its 14th anniversary gala, set to take place on November 25, 2024, in Gbongan, Osun State.
The prestigious event will celebrate outstanding achievements in the fields of entrepreneurship and music, and is expected to attract dignitaries from across Nigeria.
In a press release issued by the magazine’s publisher, Prince Moses Gbadegesin, two standout individuals were named for recognition following a rigorous selection process conducted by the editorial board.
In the Entrepreneurship category, Chief Tajudeen Oladokun, a native of Gbongan, will be honored for his remarkable achievements in business.
Described as a visionary leader, Chief Oladokun is recognized for his relentless pursuit of success and his ability to take calculated risks, transforming his dreams into reality.
“The young and hardworking Chief Tajudeen Oladokun has shown exceptional determination and an unshakable belief in his capabilities. His entrepreneurial journey is a testament to resilience and a strong work ethic,” the statement stated.
In the Music category, King Atayese Olando Ore will be celebrated as the 2024 Musician of the Year.
Known for his unique fusion of musical styles, King Atayese has captivated audiences for over 14 years, earning widespread admiration from both fans and critics. His music, influenced by genres ranging from classical to rock, has positioned him as a standout figure in the industry.
“King Atayese, fondly referred to as the ‘Melody Maker’ by his fans, has consistently demonstrated creativity and innovation in his craft, making him a true pioneer in the Nigerian music scene,” the organisers remarked.
The event will be chaired by Barrister Isiaka Adeyemi Alli, with a keynote lecture to be delivered by renowned author and motivational speaker, Mr. Olurotimi Femi Adesina.
Special recognition will also be given to Senator Kamaldeen Lere Adewumi, the Senate Minority Whip, who will grace the occasion as the Guest of Honour.
Furthermore, Legislative Awards will be presented to Hon. Lanre Omoleye Oladebo, Member of the House of Representatives representing Ayedaade/Irewole/Isokan Federal Constituency, and Hon. Folorunso Ogundare, Member representing Ayedaade State Constituency.
Additionally, Dr. Pushker Kashmiri will be honored with the Score Express Award for his exceptional contributions as a discoverer and nature enthusiast for the year 2024.
