As the political crisis in Rivers state continues festering, two State Executive Council (SEC) and loyalists of Nyesome Wike have announced their resignation from the Siminalayi Fubara government this afternoon.
The Attorney General and Commissioner for Justice, Zachaus Adango, and that of Special Projects, Chief Emeka Woke, announced their decision Thursday afternoon in Port Harcourt, the Rivers State capital.
While Adango, cited personal reasons for his action, Woke’s reason is yet to be disclosed.
Woke is the former chief of staff to the former governor
It is generally believed that appointment of the duo into Fubara’s government was dictated by Wike.
