Rivers Crisis: Nine Commissioners Loyal To Wike Resign From Fubara’s Cabinet

The political crisis in Rivers State between Governor Sim Fubara and FCT minister Nyesom Wike continue festering as the number of commissioners that resigned has increased to nine.

Those resigned are believed to be loyalists of the former governor, who he personally nominated for his predecessor, Governor Fubara.

Out of the nine commissioners, five served under Wike’s administration in the same capacity, while Woke was Wike’s Chief of Staff for eight years.

9. Commissioner for Environment, Austin Ben-Chioma resigned.
