The Rector of Federal Polytechnic Nekede, Dr. (Mrs.) Basilia Nkemdilim Igbokwe, has extended warm birthday greetings to the Governor of Imo State, Senator Hope Uzodinma, in a message that commended the governor’s visionary leadership and contributions to the state’s development.
In a statement released on behalf of the institution’s Governing Council, management, staff, and students, Dr. Igbokwe described Governor Uzodinma as a transformative leader whose tenure has been marked by significant achievements in infrastructure, education, healthcare, and economic growth.
“Your first term as Governor demonstrated an unwavering dedication to the progress of Imo State, laying a solid foundation for sustainable development,” the statement read.
Ms Igbokwe added, “In this early part of your second term, we are already witnessing your resolve to advance the state through strategic policies, transformative urban renewal projects, improved security, and industrialization efforts.”
The Rector expressed pride in the institution’s alignment with the Governor’s vision for a prosperous Imo State, stating his leadership as a source of inspiration for confidence in the state’s future.
Dr. Igbokwe also joined well-wishers in celebrating the Governor’s life and service to humanity, praying for his continued health, wisdom, and strength to lead Imo State to greater heights.
