There’s ongoing protest in Ibadan, oyo state capital over hardship, high cost of living, food inflation being currently experiencing in the country.
The protesters comprising youths, market women took to the street early in the morning of Monday, chanting solidarity songs to drive home their points.
Carrying placards with the inscriptions such as ‘The poor is starving’, ‘End food hike and inflation’, amongst others, the protesters called on President Bola Tinubu to quickly fix the sordid situation.

To avoid hoodlums from hijacking the peaceful rally, some armed policemen were stationed at the scene.
The protest in Oyo followed others in Kano, Minna, Kogi, Kaduna, amongst others.
