POCACOV Warns Of Potential Cult Violence On June 15, Urges Vigilance

The Police Campaign Against Cultism and Other Vices (POCACOV) has issued a warning to parents, youths, and school administrators to be cautious on June 15, as the Supreme Eiye Confraternity (SEC) plans to hold its annual celebration.

The SEC, also known as the National Association of Airlords (NAA), uses this day to recruit new members, hold elections, and carry out initiations and other criminal activities.

POCACOV however warned that unsuspecting individuals may be lured into cultism and advises parents to monitor their children’s movements and ensure they are home early.

It urged the school administrators to be vigilant and report any suspicious activities among students, while hotel and club operators are warned not to allow their venues to be used for cult activities.

The public is also advised to report any suspicious gatherings to the police or other security agencies.

The statement added that POCACOV, an agency of the Nigeria Police Force (NPF), will continue to sensitise the public on the dangers of cultism and work towards reducing its impact on individuals, families, and society.
