Peter Okoye Accuses Brother Jude Of Diverting Millions, Denies Involving Twin Paul In EFCC Petition

Peter Okoye, widely known as Mr. P from the dissolved music duo P-Square, has opened up about the recent controversy involving his twin brother, Paul Okoye (Rude Boy), and the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC).

Paul had accused Peter of reporting him to the EFCC, but Peter firmly denied these allegations, offering his version of the events.

Peter clarified that he never lodged a petition with the EFCC against his twin brother. Instead, he recounted the circumstances that led to the involvement of legal authorities.

According to Peter, the issue began when he discovered a company named “Northside Music” during routine business checks. This company bore a striking resemblance to “Northside Entertainment,” the management firm jointly owned by Peter, Paul, and their older brother, Jude Okoye, responsible for managing P-Square’s affairs.

Further investigation revealed that “Northside Music” was founded and directed by Jude Okoye and his wife, Ifeoma Okoye, using Ifeoma’s family home as the registered address.

Startled by the discovery, Peter confronted his twin, Paul, who denied any knowledge of the company.

Determined to protect his interests, Peter consulted his lawyers and instructed them to file a petition.

However, he explicitly directed them to exclude Paul’s name from the filing. “I challenge Paul, or anyone else, to produce any petition where I mentioned my twin brother’s name,” Peter asserted in his statement.

Peter admitted that his petition targeted Jude and Ifeoma Okoye after uncovering substantial financial irregularities, alleging millions of dollars and hundreds of millions of Naira secretly funneled into the account of “Northside Music” from their joint venture, “Northside Entertainment.”

Peter further revealed that Jude, upon interrogation, confessed to diverting significant sums of money into the clandestine account of “Northside Music,” a company he ran with his wife.

The EFCC’s investigation allegedly confirmed that Jude’s secret company had been siphoning royalties belonging to Northside Entertainment for years.

Jude reportedly mentioned Paul during his questioning, leading to the EFCC summoning Peter’s twin for further inquiries.

Peter reiterated that his actions were never aimed at his brother Paul but were solely focused on addressing the financial misconduct orchestrated by Jude and his wife.
