Parrotxtra @ 20: Asiwaju Hassan Giwa Congratulates Publisher, Parrot Team On Media Excellence

The founder of Hassan Olawale Giwa (HOG) Foundation, Arc (Dr.) Hassan Giwa, has congratulated the management and staff of the Parrotxtra Media Network, on the occasion of double celebrations of the media organization’s 20th anniversary and 60th birthday of the Chairman, Ambassador Olayinka Agboola.

The Asiwaju Adini Musulumi of Ibadanland, in a statement signed and made available to journalists in Ibadan, praised the Parrotxtra Media Network for weathering the storm of the past 20 years and waxing stronger in balance reporting and upholding the ethics.

Mr Giwa commended the chairman, Ambassador Olayinka Agboola and the entire team for working in line with the objectives and vision in which the media organization was established despite limited resources and other various challenges.

While acknowledging the contributions of Parrotxtra Media Network to societal development, the Managing Director of Amron Global Nigeria Limited, disclosed that the pivotal role of educating, entertaining, enlightenment, and promotion of good governance being exhibited by the media organization in the last 20 years can not be over emphasized.

“It is indeed a remarkable achievement to attain this milestone despite challenges associated with the media profession in Nigeria. I heartily congratulate the management and staff of Parrotxtra Media Network on the occasion of its 20th anniversary.

“I also congratulate my dear brother, the Chairman of Parrotxtra Media Network, Ambassador Olayinka Agboola on his 60th birthday anniversary, which commemorates the 20th anniversary of his media establishment. It is a double celebration.

“I appreciate you for not deviating from the objectives and vision you have for the organization, despite limited resources accumulated with other challenges, you continue to work in tandem with ethics, rules and principles guiding the media profession.

“You and your team have done well in educating, entertaining, enlightening and promoting good governance through unbiased reports in the last 20 years.

“As I congratulate you on your 60th birthday and 20th anniversary of your establishment, I hope the events commemorating these anniversaries honour your legacy of courageous journalism and its dedicated staff, and set a good course for the future.

“Congratulations, and I wish you many more years of impactful journalism,” Mr Giwa stated.
