The National Primary Health Care Development Agency (NPHCDA) is gearing up for the second phase of the human papillomavirus (HPV) vaccination across multiple states in Nigeria.
The director of disease control and immunization, Rufai Garba, announced the upcoming vaccination campaign during a sensitisation meeting in Abuja.
Mr Garba stated despite challenges such as misinformation from anti-vaccine groups, the NPHCDA remains optimistic and emphasizes the importance of preemptive public sensitisation to combat misinformation.
