The Coalition of North-East Elders Forum (CNEF) has firmly rejected Senator Ali Ndume’s recent criticism of President Bola Tinubu’s administration.
Senator Ndume had accused the government of being led by “kakistocrats” and “kleptocrats,” suggesting that it is managed by the least competent and most corrupt individuals who are primarily focused on embezzling resources.
In a statement issued by Alhaji Ali Ibrahim Sheriff, the Coordinator of CNEF, the elders called on Senator Ndume to support President Tinubu’s efforts, especially in tackling the severe security challenges posed by insurgents and bandits in Borno State and the broader northern region.
The elders stated that instead of criticising, the lawmaker should collaborate closely with the President and Vice President to address these critical issues.
