Nigeria Police Raise Alarm Over Corruption in Constable Recruitment List

The Nigeria Police Force has raised concerns about significant irregularities and corruption in the recently published list of successful candidates for the 2022/23 police constables recruitment.

Following numerous complaints from unsuccessful candidates, Force Public Relations Officer ACP Olumuyiwa Adejobi revealed that the list includes names of individuals who neither applied nor participated in the recruitment process.

According to him, the list also contains candidates who failed tests or were disqualified for medical reasons adding that allegations of financial corruption leading to the inclusion of unqualified individuals have been particularly troubling.
