Former federal lawmaker who represented Ibadan Southeast/Northeast Federal Constituency, Dapo Lam-Adesina, on Wednesday extended Ramadan goodwill to his constituents with the distribution of food items and cash gifts in Ibadan.

The outreach, held at the residence of his late father, former Oyo State governor Lam Adesina, in the Felele area of the city, attracted a large turnout of party faithful, community leaders, and residents. Beneficiaries received 10kg bags of rice alongside cash support, in what has become a regular humanitarian gesture by the politician during festive periods.

Lam-Adesina, a chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC), also used the occasion to engage with elderly constituents and other stakeholders, reinforcing his grassroots connection and political presence in the constituency.

Speaking at the event, he expressed appreciation to residents for their continued support of the administration of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, urging patience with ongoing economic reforms. According to him, the policies being implemented by the federal government are necessary steps that will ultimately yield positive outcomes for Nigerians.

Some of the beneficiaries who spoke with WesternLifeNewsNG described Lam-Adesina as a rare, humane politician who gives his all when it comes to the welfare of the people.

An aged beneficiary, Mrs. Serifa Atanda, recalled that the former lawmaker made meaningful impact during his time in office, noting that many constituents are already urging him to contest again in 2027.

Other beneficiaries echoed similar sentiments, vowing to queue behind the politician in his bid to clinch the APC ticket to contest the Ibadan Southeast/Northeast Federal Constituency seat in the next general elections.
