As Ibadanland prepares for a new era under the reign of His Imperial Majesty, Oba Senator Rashidi Adewolu Ladoja, the respect and admiration for the Olubadan-designate continues to echo across the city.
Speaking during a symbolic walk through some of Ibadan’s most popular streets and neighborhoods to honour the monarch, Mogaji Agbobeere, Chief Kolawole Oladipupo, described Ladoja as a man of rare quality whose leadership journey stands out in Nigeria’s history.
“Senator Ladoja has distinguished himself at every stage of his service to the people,” Chief Oladipupo said.
“He has been a senator, a governor, and now, by the grace of God, an Oba. With him on the throne, Ibadanland can look forward to unprecedented growth and development.”
He emphasized that the honour being accorded to Ladoja is well deserved, given his years of sacrifice, service, and commitment to the progress of Ibadan and Oyo State at large.
“This celebration is more than just tradition; it is about giving honour to whom honour is due,” Chief Oladipupo concluded.
