Juventus sporting director Cristiano Giuntoli has addressed the situation surrounding Paul Pogba, whose future at the club remains uncertain.
Pogba, who has been sidelined due to a doping suspension, is set to return to competitive football in March 2025 after the Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS) reduced his ban to 18 months.
However, his return to the pitch may not be in the black-and-white stripes of Juventus.
Reports had surfaced earlier, with transfer expert Nicolo Schira suggesting that Juventus intends to terminate Pogba’s contract, which is set to expire in June 2026. Giuntoli’s recent comments appeared to reinforce this possibility.
“We will make a decision after the official statement from CAS,” he remarked.
“He was a great player, but he’s been out for a long time… let’s wait and see what happens.”
Meanwhile, Pogba’s representatives are reportedly exploring alternative options, with clubs from Major League Soccer (MLS) and Saudi Arabia expressing interest in signing the 31-year-old midfielder.
As the situation unfolds, it remains unclear whether Pogba will continue his journey with Juventus or seek a new chapter elsewhere.
