JUST IN: Tinubu Avails Masses Free Train Rides, 50% Subsidy On Road Travel During Yuletide

President Bola Tinubu on Wednesday, has announced subsidy on road and rail travel for Nigerians during Yuletide.

This was disclosed by Chairman, inter-ministerial committee on presidential intervention, Dele Alake, saying Nigerians can travel via buses at 50% discount.

This directive is to be implemented starting on the December 21 till January 4.

Alake said “Air travel was considered but the president’s initiative is to consider the masses. Masses don’t travel by air.”

According to him, this would apply to only luxurious buses on 22 routes.
