The Divisional Police Officer (DPO) of Gurara division, CSP Bissalla Yakubu Yusuf, has been honored with a prestigious award by the Igala Media Forum (IMF).
The forum recognized CSP Yusuf for his outstanding contributions as a detective and investigator, praising him as a “Greater Nigerian” for his exceptional service to the community.
The award was presented by Comrade Ibrahim, a representative of the forum, who highlighted CSP Yusuf’s significant impact on crime reduction in Gurara since assuming office.
Comrade Ibrahim noted that after a thorough investigation, the forum concluded that CSP Yusuf’s diligent efforts had substantially improved safety and security in the area, making him a deserving recipient of the award.
In his acceptance speech, CSP Yusuf expressed his gratitude for the recognition, thanking the forum and the media, particularly Ahmed Ahmed of Human Rights Radio, for their continuous support and advocacy for the underprivileged.
The CSP also extended his appreciation to the IMF for their kind gesture in acknowledging their work.
