A Member, House of Representatives Hon. Akinlayo Davidson Kolawole has lauded Gov. Biodun Oyebanji of Ekiti State for appointing more seasoned and dependable Politicians as Aides.
According to the lawmaker, the latest development by the governor is aimed towards running an all-inclusive administration that will allow many Ekiti indigenes and citizens to contribute their quota to the development of the State.
Mr Kolawole described the appointment of over one hundred (100) Aides by Gov. Oyebanji, as another milestone of the present administration in the State.
He said, “Without mincing words, Ekiti has been witnessing unprecedented and second to none development since inception of the present administration in all the sectors of economy of the State.
“The focus on health, road, Agriculture, electricity, water and welfares of workers among others to mention but a few could not be underestimated.
Mr Kolawole said the appointments was “a round peg in a round hole”, saying there is no doubt that the Appointees, will contribute positively to the development of the State in order to achieve the governor’s targetted goals of a prosperous State.
According to him, “if you look at the pedigree and antecedent of the Appointees, you will agree with me that, some of them will contribute their wealth of experience and expertise to the development of Ekiti State.
“It is to say the least that, Ekit is blessed with many best hands who can change the narrative of under development status of the State in the past to an enviable one within a short period of time, hence the need for such appointments to assist the Governor to actualise his vision and mission in the State.
While congratulating the new Appointees which includes; 45 Senior Special Assistants, 64 Special Assistants and 6 Technical Advisors, Hon. Kolawole charged them to “live above board” by being dedicated and committed at serving the People of the State.
The lawmaker who represents Ekiti North Federal Constituency II, stressed the need for a total loyalty to the Governor and party leadership inorder to justify the confidence repose in them.
