FEDERAL POLYTECHNIC NEKEDE 48TH MATRICULATION GOES GLOBAL
The 48th Matriculation Ceremony of Federal Polytechnic Nekede, Owerri, scheduled for Friday, 6th March 2026 (this morning) by 10:00 AM at the Institution’s Mini Stadium , is set to receive wide global media coverage as the Polytechnic deploys multiple media platforms to project this historic academic event to the world.
In an exciting development, the ceremony will be transmitted live via Internet Radio courtesy of Zanders FM 105.7, giving listeners across different locations the opportunity to follow the proceedings in real time. This initiative underscores the institution’s commitment to leveraging modern media technology to expand its visibility and engagement with the global audience.
Additionally, the Students’ Union Government (SUG) Publicity Directorate will beam the ceremony live on Facebook, while the ICT Directorate of the Polytechnic will provide live streaming through Zoom technology, ensuring that alumni, parents, partners, and well wishers across the world can participate virtually in this landmark event.
To further guarantee comprehensive coverage, accredited Press Corps from reputable electronic and print media houses within Owerri and beyond will be on ground to document and report the ceremony across various media platforms.
In view of the expected media presence and to maintain orderliness throughout the event, phone users and unaccredited media personnel without official identification tags are strongly advised to refrain from approaching the podium and designated media zones.
