Major General Chris Alli (rtd), a former Chief of Army Staff has been reportedly dead.
WesternLifeNewsNG however is yet to get the details of his death, as at the time of writing this report.
Mr Alli was Chief of Army Staff between 1993 and 1994 during General Sani Abacha’s regime as well as military governor of Plateau State Nigeria from August 1985 to 1986 during the military regime of General Ibrahim Babangida.

He was regarded as an Army top brass who had sympathy for the revalidation of June 12 election won by late Chief Moshood Kashimawo Abiola.
In 2004, Mr Alli was appointed interim administrator of Plateau state, following ethno-religious killings in Shendam, Yelwa Local Government.
