As part of its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) efforts, Fidelity Bank Plc has renovated the Primary Healthcare Clinic in the Tudun Amba Community, Lafia Local Government Area, Nasarawa State. In addition, the bank has addressed the local water scarcity by installing new water facilities.
At the inauguration ceremony, Meksley Nwagboh, the Divisional Head of Brand and Communication at Fidelity Bank, emphasised the bank’s commitment to improving community living standards.
He noted, “The dignity of every human person is a shared responsibility. We undertook this project to enhance the living conditions in Tudun Amba as part of our broader mission to positively impact our host communities.”
Nwagboh extended his gratitude to the community leaders for their support, saying, “Our efforts here are part of a long tradition of community support projects across the country. Fidelity Bank remains dedicated to fostering growth and prosperity within our host communities.”
Nasarawa State’s Honourable Commissioner of Health, Gaza Gwamna, commended Fidelity Bank for its contributions.
Represented by the ministry’s Permanent Secretary, John Damina, Gwamna highlighted the government’s commitment to supporting commercial banks in boosting the state’s economy.
He urged the Nasarawa State Primary Healthcare Development Agency to maintain the upgraded facility to inspire further private sector investments.
“I call on the NAPHDA management to ensure proper use of this facility for the benefit of the community and beyond. Such responsible use will encourage more private sector contributions to other communities in the state,” he said.
