CLOFAM Founder, Victor Omoyele Calls for Divine Intervention, Prayers To Solve Nigeria’s Crisis

The General Overseer of Christ Love Family Ministry (CLOFAM), Prophet (Dr.) Victor Omoyele has stressed the need for divine intervention to address Nigeria’s numerous challenges.

In an exclusive interview with selected journalists, the clergy called for fervent prayers and urged both the public and politicians to put God first in their endeavors.

State of the Nation
Prophet Omoyele expressed deep concern over the prevailing hardships in Nigeria, describing the situation as dire.
“We have to thank God for being our pillar of support because despite the numerous challenges in the past few years, Nigeria is still intact,” he said.
He pointed out the severe economic difficulties faced by Nigerians, exacerbated by recent policy changes, such as the removal of the fuel subsidy.
“Nigerians are really suffering; there is abject poverty in the land,” he added.
He further revealed that he had written an open letter to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, highlighting the widespread suffering and urging the President to consider the plight of the masses.
“Ever since the subsidy was removed, things have not augured well in the country. One can see suffering on the faces of the masses,” he noted.
Omoyele called for tangible actions to alleviate the hardships faced by Nigerians, stating the role of prayer for the success of the administration.

Assessment of President Tinubu’s administration
While acknowledging President Tinubu’s efforts, Omoyele stated that these efforts have fallen short of expectations.
“In the last year, the economic situation of the country is nothing to write home about,” he said.
While attributing much of the economic downturn to the removal of the subsidy, he advised the President to adopt more considerate policies that would not adversely affect the masses.

Role of Clerics in Nation Building
Omoyele highlighted the critical role of clerics in nation-building, which includes praying for the country and offering sincere advice to both the public and politicians. He lamented that some pastors have compromised their integrity due to financial incentives from politicians.
“Most of Nigerian pastors, I do refer to them as born-again beggars,” he remarked.
He urged religious leaders to emulate Jesus Christ and focus on their spiritual duties rather than financial gains.

God’s Revelation about Nigeria
Prophet Omoyele shared a divine revelation, assuring that all would be well with Nigeria but stressed the need for earnest prayer and dedication to God.
“Nigeria is a nation loved by God, and that is why He has been our pillar of support since the country’s existence,” the clergy said.
He urged Nigerians to seek God’s mercy to ensure peace and stability.

Raging insecurity
Addressing the issue of insecurity, Omoyele underscored its critical importance for national development. He recommended empowering security agencies with sophisticated weapons and ensuring they are adequately compensated.
“The issue of insecurity should be of paramount importance to all of us,” he said.
He noted the negative impact on foreign investments and the relocation of companies.

Advice for Nigerians and political leaders
Prophet Omoyele called on Nigerians to remain prayerful and look to God for assistance, as the nation’s challenges have both physical and spiritual dimensions. He also advised political leaders to rule with the fear of God, acknowledging that no position is permanent.
“I pray to God that in some months, the lost glory of our nation shall be restored,” he concluded.

CLOFAM’s Impact on Nigerians
Omoyele praised the significant contributions of CLOFAM to the nation, citing the ministry’s role in raising notable figures and supporting numerous families.
“God has used CLOFAM to assist a lot of families, and that is why we believe that with God, all things are possible,” he said.
