A Member, House of Representattives from Ekiti North Federal Constituency II, Hon. Akinlayo Davidson Kolawole has called on all Nigerians irrespective of political or religious affiliations to always embrace peace, harmony, unity and tolerance in all situations.
The federal lawmaker made the call in a goodwill message to mark the 2024 Christmas Celebration.
Mr Kolawole described peace, harmony, unity and tolerance as important ingredients needed for a meaningful development in every Society, hence the need for Nigerians to always embrace such.
He urged Nigerians especially Christians to imbibe the spirit of humility and other attitudes of Jesus Christ in their daily activities to develop the country.
“Christmas Celebration must not be regarded as a merry making event alone but rather an avenue to reawaken the christ-like spirit in every Christian to be seen as a role model to others through actions and dealings.
“The development will not only further facilitate the growth of the religion in the country but at the same time curb corruption and other ills in the Nigerian system inorder to fast-track real development in the Country”.
While congratulating all Nigerian Christians especially his Constituents, Mr Kolawole urged them to continue to support the present APC administration both at the Federal and State levels.
“The Party is resolved and determined to bring back the lost glory of Nigeria soon, hence the need for the support of all Nigerians to achieve greatness,” he stated.
