Nigerian singer Burna Boy has shared that he does not plan to have children until he is more settled in life.
A fan had asked him why he has not had children yet during an Instagram Live session on May 15, 2024.
Burna Boy responded, “Why haven’t I had kids yet? Because I don’t want to have kids yet.” He emphasized that he wants to provide the same level of love and stability his parents gave him, something he feels is not possible with his current lifestyle.
“Have you seen my operation bro? Have you seen my mum, the way she loves me? Have you seen my dad, the way he loves me? I know I can’t give that to anyone right now with the life I live,” he explained.
He added, “When I’m settled and I can be there for my children every day, every single minute, every second, I’ll have kids. But right now, my kids deserve better than I can give. And I got both my mum and dad so you understand?”
Addressing rumors in the chat about fertility issues, Burna Boy laughed and said, “I see the bants in the chat talking about some impotent shit. Let’s even say that it’s true that I can’t have any kids, have you not heard of IVF?”
