The Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, has cleared all 33 Local Government Areas in the OyoState local government election held on Saturday.
WesternLifeNews reports that the results released by the state independent electoral commission showed that PDP swept the votes in all the local government areas in the State.
Apart from the PDP, other major political party that participated in the election for Chairmanship and Councillorship of all the wards was the All Progressives Congress, APC.
Though, there’s yet to be an official statement from the main opposition party as at the time of filing this report, some leaders of the APC in the state have expressed dissatisfaction party n the conduct of the election, alleging disfranchisement of many voters.
