Bayern Munich has set its sights on another English talent, Adam Wharton, in a £60 million move, according to reports.
Wharton, 20, has been a standout performer at Crystal Palace since his £18 million switch from Blackburn Rovers in January.
With 15 consecutive starts for the Eagles and three assists to his name, including one in their recent win over Wolves, Wharton has caught the eye of the Bundesliga giants.
While Bayern’s managerial situation remains uncertain, their pursuit of a new central midfielder is evident. After previous successes with English players like Harry Kane and Eric Dier, Bayern sees Wharton as a promising addition.
However, with Wharton tied to Palace until 2029, any deal won’t come cheap, with The Sun reporting a £60 million price tag.
Additionally, Bayern is reportedly monitoring Everton’s Amadou Onana, valued at £50 million, as another potential target.
