The Asiwaju Adini Musulumi of Ibadanland, Arc (Dr.) Hassan Giwa has commiserated with the executive Governor of Oyo State, Engr. Seyi Makinde over the demise of his eldest brother, Engr. Sunday Makinde.
Mr Giwa also extended his condolences to the entire family of Aigbofa for the loss, urging the family to take it as a test from the almighty God.
The religious leader disclosed that death is inevitable; in which every individual irrespective of position or status must have a taste of.
He urged the governor, the wife and children of late Engr. Sunday Makinde, as well as the entire family to take solace in the words of God in the Holy Quran which says “Unto Allah belongeth the dominion of the heavens and the earth. He giveth life and He taketh it“.
Mr Giwa prayed that God sheds His light upon the deceased and give the family he left behind the comfort, strength and peace to bear the loss.
