Asiwaju Adini Giwa, Salutes Muslims For Spiritual Devotion, Sacrifice During Ramadan

The Asiwaju Adini Musulumi of Ibadanland, Arc (Dr.) Hassan Olawale Giwa, has saluted Muslim faithful for their dedication, sacrifice, and spiritual devotion throughout the fasting period.

M‎r Giwa gave the salutation in a statement made available to journalists on Thursday to congratulate Muslim faithful on the occasion of Eid-el-Fitr, marking the completion of the holy month of Ramadan.

‎Asiwaju Adini, in the statement, congratulated the Muslim community in Lagelu Local Government, Ibadanland, and Oyo State in general. He prayed that Almighty Allah bestow upon them all the blessings attached.

‎The founder of Hassan Olawale Giwa (HOG) Foundation disclosed that Ramadan is not only a time of abstinence but also a period that emphasizes compassion, self-discipline, generosity, and renewed faith in God.

‎Mr Giwa charged them to uphold the virtues learned during Ramadan, particularly love, tolerance, and peaceful coexistence, stressing that unity and harmony remain essential for the development and progress of society.

‎The Asiwaju Adini Musulumi of Ibadanland called on the people to use the festive period to pray for lasting peace, stability, and prosperity in Oyo State and Nigeria as a whole.

‎He reiterated his commitment to promoting a government of inclusiveness, unity of purpose, and ensuring an environment where all can be proud.

‎Asiwaju Adini specifically acknowledged the Chief Imam of Ibadanland, Sheikh Abdulganiyy Abdulbakry Agbotomokekere, and the entire Imam-in-Council, Aare Musulumi of Yorubaland, Edo, and Delta States, Alhaji Dawud Makanjuola Akinola, Chairman, Oyo State Muslim Community, Sheikh Kunle Sanni, Prof. Koyejo Oloso, Babasaale Musulumi of Ibadanland, Alhaji Nureni Akanbi, and Muslim preachers and scholars in Ibadan and Oyo State, for their efforts to ensure that Islam as a religion continues to flourish and make a meaningful impact in society.

‎While wishing every Muslim a joyous and peaceful Eid-el-Fitr celebration, Arc Giwa advised them to celebrate responsibly and continue to embody the teachings of Ramadan as practiced by Prophet Muhammed.
