The leadership of the African Democratic Youth Congress (ADYC) in Oyo State has paid a solidarity visit to the state executives of the African Democratic Congress (ADC), reaffirming their commitment to strengthening the party’s structures and promoting youth participation in politics.
The visit, which took place on Wednesday, October 22, 2025, at the ADC state secretariat in Ibadan, had in attendance key ADYC officials, including the State Coordinator, Hon. Adesina Temitope; the State Public Relations Officer, Comrade Giwa Saheed; and the Ibadan North Local Government Coordinator, Comrade Oyedele.
They were warmly received by the ADC Oyo State Chairman, Hon. Yinka Olonade, alongside the State Welfare Officer, Hon. Oluyemi, and other principal officers of the party.
Speaking during the visit, Hon. Adesina Temitope commended the ADC leadership for its open-door policy and inclusive approach to governance, noting that ADYC remains committed to the ideals of youth empowerment, political education, and national development.
In his remarks, Hon. Olonade appreciated the youth leaders for their visit and assured them of the party’s readiness to work closely with young people in advancing the ADC’s vision across the state. He emphasised that the ADC will continue to create platforms for young Nigerians to actively contribute to the political process and governance.
The meeting also focused on strengthening collaboration between ADC and ADYC at both state and national levels, with both groups resolving to work together towards achieving common goals and ensuring the party’s growth.
The event ended on a positive note with renewed optimism for greater synergy between the ADC and its youth wing in driving progressive political engagement across Oyo State and beyond.
