Adamawa State Governor Ahmadu Fintiri has nominated, among others, Adamu Atiku, the son of former Vice President and presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party, Atiku Abubakar as commissioner nominees.
Adamu served as commissioner for works in the first term tenure of the governor.
Other nominees include Dr Umar Pella, who was the Commissioner of Information in Fintiri’s first term, and Abdullahi Prambe, who headed the Community & Rural Infrastructure ministry.
The nominees were submitted to the state House of Assembly on Thursday for screening and confirmation.
