The Champions of the 2023 /2024 ACE Supermarket Unity Cup holding in Oyo town is expected to emerge on Friday, 12th April, 2024.
The final match to be decided at Durbar Stadium, Oyo will see two football giants ,Oyo Alaafin Football Club , Oyo and White Lions Football Club, Awe battle for the ultimate prize of one of the most prestigious grassroots football tournaments in the Southwest, Nigeria.
To get to the final of the tournament put together by Hyzik Media Concept, Nigeria and Oyo Football Development Council ( OFDC) , Oyo A FC defeated BISI ILAKA FC 4-0 , while White Lions also beat D’way Up FC, 5-4 via penalties after the regulation time ended 0-0 .
The Chairman, ACE SUPERMARKET conglomerate, Comrade Yinka Afonja is expected to be at the final to present the winners trophy to the eventual champions on Friday.
It would be recalled that Castle FC won the 2022 edition of the tournament proudly sponsored by the company as part of its corporate social responsibility at various cities and towns where its operates .
